Down-looking synthetic aperture imaging ladar demonstrator and its experiments over 1.2 km outdoor

We present a down-looking synthetic aperture imaging ladar demonstrator and its experiments over 1.2 km in the field. The achieved imaging resolution is in agreement with the theoretical design, and the resulting two-dimensional image is satisfied.
